Dr. P A Kiriwandeniya
Chairman / Managing Director

The Leader of the Sanasa Movement and the Chairman of the Sanasa Insurance Company Ltd. He is an internationally recognized thinker and an institution builder in the cooperative sector. He is the visionary who recognized the vast potential of thrift and credit co-operative societies and the indefatigable doer who transformed ideas and vision into a movement that has gone from strength over past three decades.

He graduatd from the University of Sri Jayawardanapura in 1965 and he has functioned as the President of the National Cooperative Council, The Asian Confederation of Credit Unions and The International Cooperative Banking Association (Asia & Pacific Region). He has also served as the Chairman, People's Bank and has been a long term consultant (International Affairs) of the Canadian Cooperative Association. He also served as a Director to the Samurdhi Authority and as a Council Member of the Sri Jayawardanapura University.

He was awarded a Doctorate from the University of Ruhuna for the yeoman service rendered to uplift the Cooperative Movement in Sri Lanka.

Dr. Kiriwandeniya is a recipient of the Vishwaprasadani Presidential Award in 1996 one of Sri Lanka's highest and most prestigious national honours.

Mr. N.J.B. Mamaduwa
Vice - Chairman

Mr. Mamaduwa is the Chief Executive Officer/ General Manager of the Sanasa Development Bank. He has over 35 years experience in banking. Mr. Mamaduwa holds a Diploma in Bank Management (SL) and is an Associate member of Institute of Credit Management (SL).

Mr. K.G. Wijeratne

Mr. Wijeratne is an attoeney-at-law by profession having over ten years practice. He is also the Director of Sanasa Federation and Matale District Co- operative council. Mr. Wijeratne is the president of Pahalawewa Sanasa Society and has over 28 years of experience in the Sanasa Movement.

Mr. R.A. Mahindaratne

Mr. Mahindaratne has over 35 years of experience in the Sanasa Movement and currently holds the position of president of the Meegahawatta Sanasa Society.

Mr. P. Jayatissa

Mr. P. Jayatissa Mr. Jayatissa has over 26 years of experience in the Sanasa Movement. Currently he holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Polgahawela Sanasa Society Union and president of the Ratmalgoda Sanasa Society.

Mr. D.U. Pathmasiri

Mr. D.U. Pathmasiri is the Chairman of the Board at Hikkaduwa MPCS Ltd, Galle District Co-operative Council and numerous Directorates in Companies operating as part of the Co-operative network. He has over 11 years of experience in the Sanasa Movement.

Mr. K.W. Sarath Chandrasiri

Mr. Chandrasiri has over 15 years of experience in the Sanasa Movement and currently holds the position of president of the Panawala Siridammananda Sanasa Society.

Mr. L.B. Dassanayake

Mr. Dassanayake is a Director of the SICL representing Sanasa Federation of Sri Lanka.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts (Sociology) from the University of Peradeniya and a Master's Degree from the University of Liecester, UK. Mr. Dassanayake is presently reading for a Ph.D. at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura.

Mr. E Ruwan Jayanatha Perera
Director

Mr. E.Ruwan Jayanatha Perera is a Director of Sanasa Insurance Company Ltd. and he is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (ACMA) and the Certified Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (ACPM). Also he is a Managing Partner of AIYAR & COMPANY Chartered Accountants.
